How to check logfile ?

Where is the log file located?

When restarting Cryptomator, a new log file is created. The log file of your latest launch is cryptomator0.log, the one before is cryptomator1.log and so on until cryptomator9.log. Usually you want to look at cryptomator0.log which is stored here: Windows: %appdata%/Cryptomator/ OS X: ~/Library/Logs/Cryptomator/ Linux: ~/.local/share/Cryptomator/logs/ pre-1.4.6: ~/.Cryptomator/ You can access this location by clicking on “reveal log files” from within Cryptomator’s preferences window: …

Open it with a text editor and look for WARN or ERROR messages.

Also, there are many folders inside Cryptomator up the sync cloud, but all has 2 characters that I don’t recognize, like N1, XC, V3, etc
How to check them ?

These are your encrypted vault files.
You can check your sync client if there are any messages that files are waiting for sync.
You can also use cyberduck to acces your online files directly and have a look if your missing files are shown. If yes, there’s definitely a sync issue. If no than I’m afraid anything else has deleted them.
