I found this thread iOS App - Offline File but, unfortunately it’s closed.
The point is, that the cryptomator iOS App can’t open files offline – this is a clear safety risk.
I have some documents which I want to read without internet connection. But this simply doesn’t work.
The vault lays on a USB stick, but I can’t open the vault with having the iPad in fly mode. The app forces me to connect to WiFi, just to open a vault on a USB stick. I don’t get the sense for that. Cloud files – of course, but why files on the device can’t be opened without internet?
Two problems: At least the chance of data will be send to somewhere. Second, it’s makes the app completely useless, if there is no internet connection available.
