I reinstalled version 1.4.10, because the newer release stopped working after a few seconds. The folder was displayed ‘empty’. I would have liked to include a log file, but can’t remember where it is stored

We discussed the issue on GitHub: https://github.com/cryptomator/cryptomator/issues/908
And came to the conclusion that the new Dokany version isn’t as backwards-compatible as we’ve thought.
Here is the new installer with an older Dokany version: https://dl.bintray.com/cryptomator/cryptomator/1.4.11/Cryptomator-1.4.11%2B114-x64.exe

Problem seems solved, except that I still experience problems with Adobe Acrobat, but that’s a different story to be discussed here.
