OneDrive on Android without Play Services?

Is it possible to sync to OneDrive on Android without Play Services?

I tried the versions from the site and from FDroid without success. Am I doing something wrong or is it just impossible? Oddly, OneDrive’s own app does work without PS…

Yes, OneDrive doesn’t require Play Services. If you see a general error message can you please enable debug mode, reproduce the problem and send us the log file? How do I enable debug mode on Android?
