Cryptomator for Android can be used on any number of devices on which the Google account with which the purchase was made is set up.
Furthermore Cryptomator for Android supports the Google Play Family Library function which means that the app can be used by up to 5 people in a family without having to buy it again. In the last weeks some users contacted us because they had bought our app, but were asked to buy it again on another device even though they were logged in with the same Google account. This is very annoying because the purchase and distribution process is completely in the hands of Google and there is not much we can do.
We will start a list with what helped other users:
- Clear the cache of the PlayStore app
- Initiate a refund and purchase the app again
- …
- Log out the Google account completely from the device, then log in again
