My files stopped reading when I did the enmergancy Mac update

When I type in the correct passcode, it says “There was a problem connecting
to the server ‘localhost’ Contact our system administrator for
more information” but if I type in the incorrect passcode it just shakes and clears.

This is expected behaviour and means that the password was not accepted.
