Hello, I know there have been a few posts about this same topic (Example). But I was wondering if there’s any update on this?
The issue is that uploading large files to a cloud vault from the ios files app frequently fails. I’m using Google Drive. I’m not sure if this is limited to GDrive or not.
The file will show up as uploading indefinitely with “waiting” displayed below it. I can long press and tap “retry upload”, but that usually just results in a dialog saying that progress could not be determined. If I close the files app, reopen the vault, and tap “retry reupload” again, it will give an actual progress percentage, but it almost always gets stuck before reaching 100%. It seems like the larger the file, the more likely it’ll get stuck before completing.
I’ve looked at the log files, and in the file provider ui log, I see this kind of error over and over again:
Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=4099 "The connection to service created from an endpoint was invalidated: failed to check-in, peer may have been unloaded: mach_error=10000003." UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=The connection to service created from an endpoint was invalidated: failed to check-in, peer may have been unloaded: mach_error=10000003.} 2024/11/10 23:17:46:102 remoteObjectProxy failed with error: Error
Is there any possible fix for this, or is there a fix being worked on right now? Does this also occur with other cloud services? I love the app and the devs hard work, but this issue is pretty frustrating. Thank you.
