I would like to know, if it is on purpose, that the Cryptomator vault only safes the pictures and videos recorded by the camera. If this is the case
Cryptomator should upload all images that are accessible by your gallery app 
. Could you enable debug mode, take some screenshots and unlock the vault accessible for the auto upload (or enable the instant upload and have the vault already unlocked). After that, please send us the log file.
