Automatic photo upload does not upload everything

I would like to know, if it is on purpose, that the Cryptomator vault only safes the pictures and videos recorded by the camera. If this is the case: is there a way to also automatically safe media files like Screenshots and pictures sent e. g. via what’s app?

Cryptomator should upload all images that are accessible by your gallery app . Could you enable debug mode, take some screenshots and unlock the vault accessible for the auto upload (or enable the instant upload and have the vault already unlocked). After that, please send us the log file.

How do I enable debug mode on Android?

If we ask you to send a log file to us, please follow these steps: Go to the splash screen in the Cryptomator app (start screen) Open “Settings” Scroll down and enable “Debug mode” => Debug mode is enabled, now reproduce the problem Go back to “Settings” Tap on “Send log file” Choose your mail app and send an email to the Cryptomator team Please don’t forget to disable “Debug mode” after sending the email.

After you replied, I closed everything, took some screenshots and then opened the vault again. This time it magically uploaded everything after a few seconds of loading. Therefore, everything is works now.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this wonderful app. This synchronization function is amazing. Thank you! I have one more question: are GIFs also automatically synchronized and uploaded? Thank you in advance.
