Windows environment variable %APPDATA% is not used?

Hi,

we redirect with Folder Redirection the environment variable %APPDATA% to a network drive. Unfortunately, Cryptomator does not seem to take this into account when using the personal Cryptomator vault settings. The Windows path C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Cryptomator seems to be used “hard”, right? Is there a reason why the environment variable %APPDATA% is not used for this?

We are using the latest Cryptomator 1.7.3 version.

Not really, the closest i can say is “historical” and no one before you asked for it. You can open a feature request on our issue tracker to make the developers aware of it.
