Very slow file transfer

Hi,

I’ve been using Cryptomator since the beginning and it has Baan always very slow. Finally I decided to write something about it :slight_smile: Any idea why is it so slow? Hardware is quite new (i7, 32GB ram, Apple SSD drive). Maybe someone has something to contribute?

Hey and welcome to the Cryptomator Community :slightly_smiling_face:.

Are you using WebDAV to mount the vault content into the system? You can check that in Cryptomator → Settings → Virtual Drive → Volume Type.

If you’re using WebDAV, think about switching to macFUSE, this can speed things up.
