Using Community Edition for business?

Is using free - community edition of cryptomator for business acceptable? I was unable to find any info regards to that.

Cryptomator’s libraries are dual-licensed under the AGPLv3 for FOSS projects as well as a commercial license derived from the LGPL for independent
software vendors and resellers. If you want to use these libraries in applications that are not licensed under the AGPL, feel free to contact our sales team.

Ah, I just remembered this post, which clarified the statement from the website:

Thanks for answering…
It is still confusing…

“If you want to use these libraries…”
Like embedding Cryptomator’s libraries into a customized written software?
I am not trying to develop a software… but using the application (windows binary download from main website) to keep company data secured on the cloud. Is this acceptable?

In short: yes it is.
In long: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html

(But I want to point out that I’m not a lawyer)

Ah, thanks for answering.
And thanks for the additional information.

At this point I would like to try it out the basic version of the software before anything else. Research stage of multiple products and will decide which one is better choice for our situation.

Hello Micheal,
