hello. I have been using cryptomator for about a year now–no issues. I have been using version
1.18.0 for some time now. Today I saw an update to 1.18.1 was available and tried to download it.
It will not download –all fails after several times. I get the same thing on my other computer win 11 pro (only 6 mos old). I am using Firefox and I also tried Chrome–same thing. When I first started with cryptomator I downloaded ver 1.17.1-x64 and later updated to ver 1.18.0-x64 and had no problem. I do not know what to do at this point. Any idea’s?
UPDATE 3-35-2026:
I was able to get the download to work on an older win 10 pro desktop computer!! I was able to put the update on a flash drive and transfer 1.18.1 update to the other win 11 pro computers from that flash drive. The update went successful.
cryptomator STILL will not download thru win 11pro–but I am happy I was able to find this work around. I do fear that I will re-visit this issue on future updates tho.
Does anyone have any idea what went wrong with the win11 computers and cryptomator??? So that I can Take corrective actions?
