I followed all of the install instructions to set up Cryptomator today on macOS Sequoia with the vault located in iCloud. Everything worked fine until I tried copying over some files and then the following error was thrown:
The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code 100093).
When I look into the vault, the file does copy over but it is corrupted and shows as 0 bytes.
Or avoid using icloud for Cryptomator values. Or for anything in my case, icloud is buggy as it gets things wrong for storage IMHO. But especially Cryptomator because icloud screws up a lot with different versions of files. It can create by itself and kept at the same time as it tries to be “smart”.
An example if two different devices in use icloud sometimes creates multiple copies of a file to resolve conflicts because it can’t work out or keep up with charges.files can named differently.
If that happens with Cryptomator files in the vault you can imagine the disaster it can cause.
I have the same error since updating MacOS to SEQUOIA (15.0).
Cryptomator and Fuse-T all updated to latest versions.
Creating a new VAULT (on local HARDDRIVE which is not synched to any cloud) also does not allow writing to it. So it has nothing to do with whatever CLOUD
In the new TEST VAULT, there was a WELCOME.rtf file. I try to just DUPLICATE it, also ERROR 100093
