As the heading said, I created a vault on the cloud service Sync.com using my Mac PC and the Cryptomator desktop app. When I bought and installed the Android Cryptomator app on my phone and tablet, I couldn’t find any way to access my existing vault on Sync. Am I missing something. I have the Sync app on both the phone and tablet, but could find a way to access it using Cryptomator.
Sync.com does not provide WebDav access or any other third party access api.
Therefore you can’t use it with the android app as Cryptomator can’t connect to it.
Thanks for the reply. I got confused as I could set up Cryptomator on Sync with my Mac, but it didn’t work with Android.
When you say Mac are you referring to a Mac desktop? I can see that working. The iPhone version of the software unlikely has the ability to do it just like Android although I don’t have an iPhone so I can’t say for sure.
For your important files you can create a database on one of the cloud servers that is supported on mobile. You get 15 GB of space with Google so maybe that will do for you for your important things?
