Recognize encrypted file in dropbox

Hi,

I shared a folder in dropbox and saw that someone deleted a file. I restored it but as the file is encrypted, I cannot know what the folder was about. Can I make a query based on the encryted file and can I retrieve the original document?

As far as I understand your question the simple answer is: No.
