Problems of a new user

Hi,

I only recently discovered Cryptomator (1.4.0), but have an issue:

Dokany drivers
On one system I already have Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64) - 14.14.26405 installed, but the installer won’t install the Dokany drivers if it doesn’t find version 14.11.25325.

I manually removed the newer version and installed the older, then it installed the driver. After updating to the latest version it still seems to work, but I guess this can be troublesome for new users.

Thanks for reporting this. Is the Cryptomator installer failing or the Dokany installer which gets started during the Cryptomator installation?

The Dokany installer won’t even show up when Cryptomator setup is running.

Ok then this is something we need to fix in our installer!
