Pop-ups freezing & non-clickable since version 1.5.1

Seit Version 1.5.1 lassen sich bei mir Pop-ups nicht mehr klicken. (ich kann keine Auswahl treffen, die App ist bei allen Fenstern wie gefreezt). Weder kann ich so “den Tresor anzeigen” noch z.B. im Einstellungsmenü auf einen anderen Tab wechseln (hier funktioniert einzig allein das Schalten von Tab zu Tab via Pfeiltasten am Keyboard). Selbst das Hauptprogrammfenster reagiert nach dem Öffnen eines Pop-ups nicht mehr. Ich kann das Programm nur noch via “Prozess beenden” hart abwürgen. Version 1.5.0 hatte dieses Verhalten noch nicht. (hier werden auch noch “Titelleisten” bei den Popups angezeigt, bei späteren Versionen nicht mehr) Bitte um Hilfe.

What distribution of Linux do you use?
Also, do you know which desktop environment, eg KDE, Gnome, Xfce?

elementaryOS - it’s based on Unbuntu & they use Pantheon as desktop environment
I’ve downgraded to version 1.5.0. for testing purpose and this version works fine (so it’s not related to a potential Phantheon update)

If it is exactly the upgrade from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 that introduced the error, it might be caused by switching to JDK 14. We also have another user report of an erronous GUI since an upgrade from 1.5.0:

It is a different error, but it is also in the GUI and it appears on a system with a linux kernel.

We’ll look into this problem.

Since one of the last updates (can’t tell which one exactly) this is happens again :confused: Same behavior as previously :confused:

With 1.5.10 we added a script which automatically detects the installed gui library version (GTK+) and uses it accordingly.

Unfortunately, this does not cover all desktop environments (either elementary OS or arch seems currently to fail). Please use the workaround described here:
