Other cloud apps are not findable in the mobile paying app of cryptomator

  • Cryptomator: 1.7.5
  • SWITCHdrive: 2.20

I just downloaded cryptomator for the phone and wanted to open my vaults that are in the SWITCHdrive, a Swiss service similar to Dropbox. I do this already on the laptop and have no problem at all (with the desktop client of SWITCHdrive). I expect that I can select the switchdrive app and find my vault, but the app is not findable. What can I do? If I cannot use cryptomator this way, I would like to uninstall it and get it reimbursed.

This is what I do:

  1. Open cryptomator on the phone
  2. Search for SWITCHdrive, where my vaults are
  3. Not finding it

Luckily, SWITCHdrive seems to support the WebDAV protocol: Mobile Devices - FAQ - SWITCHdrive - SWITCH Help

Try to use the WebDAV option in Cryptomator and use the following URL:

https://drive.switch.ch/remote.php/dav/files/USERNAME/

Replace USERNAME with your email address.

Please be aware that the @ in your USERNAME, which is your email address, needs to be replaced by %40 to make it URL compatible. So example@switch.ch becomes example%40switch.ch.

And use your regular username/password.

And please keep in mind that the mobile apps work different than the desktop client.
