"no space left on device” error

I have been using Cryptomator for quite some time and suddenly I am now getting a “no space left on device” error on vaults that I have created on One Drive and iCloud. There is plenty of space available on both of these. I’ve done some searching online and haven’t seen anything that works for me yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. How much free space is left on your Mac? Cryptomator creates files local that are synced with your online storage.

Please also check If the sync client is configured to free up space of files that you haven’t used for some time (files on demand)

There is over 1TB free space on the HD, so that’s not the problem and the sync client is fine also.

I think I’ve found what my problem is-after doing a lot of research, it seems that my problem is not actually with Cryptomator but with the drive in my computer - even though the storage was on the cloud. Going through First Aid on the drive now and I’ll see where it goes from there.
