Newly added file not showing in Windows client

I stored a file in my vault on Google Drive using the Android client. When I close and re-open it using Android, the file is there.

When I open the vault on Google Drive using my Windows client, the file isn’t there. I’ve closed and re-opened it twice.

I am able to get the file to show up under the Window client only if I Remove the vault from the client and re-add it.

Why is there a discrepancy in the files?

Instead of removing the vault, what happens if you choose “pause syncing” and then “resume syncing” on the Windows Google Drive client?
