New vault - google drive not offered

Hi Community,

I just installed cryptomator and are trying it out. I have the problem that Google Drive does not show up as a place to create a vault (see screenshot). I am using the normal google drive desktop version with no problems. An suggestions where I should look to solve this problem?

I cannot say why Cryptomator can not detect your googledrive installation, but you can use „custom location“ (eigener Ort) to place your vault into an directory that is configured as Sync folder in your google drive app.

Cryptomator only detects Google Drive, if the folder Google Drive exists in your home/user directory.

Thanks for your answer. That will be the problem. I don’t use the standard folder for google drive.
