Need help switching Google Play Store purchase to license key

I replied to this post with this issue but I don’t think anyone saw that so I wanted to create a new topic :slight_smile:.

I would like to change my Google Play purchase to a license key that I can use with the f-droid version. In the linked post I saw @SailReal was able to help people with this so I wanna know if this is still possible?
