Need Help: Duck CLI and Cryptomator on Linux - Issues with Uploading and Listing Files

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the Linux world and trying to use Duck CLI to work with a folder encrypted with Cryptomator. I have successfully connected to OneDrive, but I’m facing some issues that I can’t seem to resolve.

Here are the details:

  • Operating System: Linux Mint
  • Duck CLI: I have the latest version installed.
  • Cryptomator: I’m using Cryptomator to encrypt my files.

Issues:

  1. Opening the Vault: I can’t seem to open the folder encrypted with Cryptomator. When I try to run the command `duck --vault “[folder]” --list, nothing happens. I’m not even prompted for the vault password. → Missing argument
  2. Uploading Files: I’ve tried uploading files to the vault, but it doesn’t work. I don’t receive any error messages, but the files simply do not appear in the vault.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s an issue with Duck CLI or Cryptomator. Has anyone had experience with this combination and can help me out? I would appreciate any support!

Thank you in advance!

You will have to post the full output of your commands possibly including the --debug option.
