Mountainduck compatibility with Cryptomator

My Cryptomator vault is in the OneDrive folder on my PC which syncs with OneDrive in the cloud.

I believe Mountainduck is fully compatible with my Cryptomator vault and allows access by mounting it as a virtual drive. I assume this is both read and write.

If I use Mountainduck to access my OneDrive cloud vault from my wifes laptop (without her having to create a local vault on her pc) am I correct in thinking that any changes made to the data in the online vault will be reflected in my local onedrive Cryptomator vault next time my pc syncs with onedrive.

Also, it seems Mountainduck can do all Cryptomator can plus the online mounting without needing to use onedrive own sync app. if I install Mountainduck on my pc, can it replace Cryptomator or are they both required in order to function?

Although these questions should be placed at mountainduck, I’ll answer here.

That’s right.

No need to install cryptomator if you only want to use mountainduck.

Same answers if you descide to use cyberduck instead of mountainduck.

Thankyou for the quick replies. You are very knowledgeable regarding these apps. :slightly_smiling_face:
