I’m uploading 56 GB of photos to a drive encrypted with Crypmator stored in Google Drive. Why is the transfer so low? The processor and network usage rate is very low. In 12 hours it transferred only 6 GB.

I would highly suggest you to use CyberDuck to do this job.
if it fails, than i’ll suggest you to use File Stream (gsuite). set your cache to a drive with space, than pause transfers, copy the files to the vault, and after the copy is done, just resume transfers on GDFS… it will be faster for sure.
I dont know if there is a similar workaround with Backup and Sync, but probably there is.
