Latest Security Audit? Any plans after 2017?

I understand that Cryptomator was audited back in 2017 with impressive results.

However, I just think it’s been a while since it was independently audited for your customers/users to get a glance at.

Any plans to update it?

Afaik an audit is very expensive. It would still be nice to get one, at least for the swift library (it was the only one not audited in 2017)

We would love to, but as already pointed out:

We are an open source project and cover the regular development cost with selling the apps in the app stores. For a security audit we have to rely on external sponsors.
