I need to create 48 vaults but I don't have enough drive letters

Hi

I am testing the Cryptomator Hub for teams and need some help, please.
We have over 25 staff that need to access different data, currently the data are located in 48 shared folders, and that number is likely to increase over time.

I will create a vault for each shared folder and add the users to the vaults in the Cryptomator Hub. This is perfect, but a problem arises when we unlock the vaults, there aren’t enough drive letters to assign to the 48 folders!
Not all staff will be opening 48 shared folders, but several staff will and some will be opening enough to run out of drive letters.

All clients/computers are running Windows 11.

Does anyone know how I can unlock more vaults than there are drive letters available, and have them all accessible within Windows Explorer?

Thanks!

You can use the “WinFsp (Local Drive)” volume type and mount directories. For more info, see

Hi Infeo

Thanks for the quick response and providing a solution. This works perfectly.
