Hi, I have been using Cryptomator without problem until the latest Mac OS update (15.0.0 and 15.0.1), using Mac Mini M2 Pro. I have tried both MacFuse and Fuse-T and get the same issue. Cryptomator loads correctly and I am able to unlock containers whether they are on my local drive or cloud storage. I can open and read files inside a container. However, when I try and copy and paste a folder into the container I have a problem. It may copy a few files or say that it is preparing to copy. But then it will freeze for a few seconds before a new error box appears with “Server connections interrupted” and the option to eject the container. Continued use ends up causing Finder to crash. It sometimes allows me transfer a single file or a small folder.
I have tried the -obackend=smb fix but still get the same errors.
then you did something wrong. macFUSE does not use a Server of any kind. Please ensure, that you installed macFUSE properly and selected macFUSE in the Cryptomator preferences. Note, that once you unlocked any vault with FUSE-T, you have to restart the app to use macFUSE.
Thanks for the reply! Your solution worked on my MacBook Air but not on my Mac Mini (both had same issue). I have uninstalled and reinstalled MacFuse but continue to get server connections interrupted error which seems very odd given your explanation. MacFuse on Mac Mini says that it has installed correctly but it is noticeable that it did not ask for Fleischer permission in security settings - system extensions are enabled and it worked previously. Not sure if this could be causing the problem?
FIXED. So I uninstalled MacFuse and installed version 4.8.0. This version gave permissions to Fleischer. I also removed the vaults from Cryptomator and then added the existing vaults back. Not sure which part resolved the issue but it now working again…
