How to use Baobab Disk Usage Analyzer on debian

Dear all,

I use cryptomator containers on debian and want to analyse the memory consumption with the tool “Baobab Disk Usage Analyzer”, in German “Festplattenbelegungsanalyse”. Unfortunately the cryptomator containers are not shown in the selection menu “Geräte und Orte”. Please let me know, what I can do.

Best Regard and thank you in advance

Are you aware that the cryptomator vaults are just virtual drives? The actual disc usage can be checked where the encrypted vault files are saved (your vault storage path)

Hallo Michael, thank you for your quick reply. Yes, I am aware. In Win 11 the windirstat or macos the disk inventory work with the cryptomator containers. I would like to have a similar procedure with debian. Best regards and thank you in advance

Hi, @Birnbaum

I’m running Debian Linux Mint 6 with Cryptomator and that very same disk analyzer that you mentioned is installed by default on my computer and I am able to see the Vault directory and its size in a graphical user environment.
