How to share files with others?

Cryptomator works great for personal use. The desktop app still has to be synced by user. The developers need to integrate it to cloud backends.

But my question is sharing. That’s a killer feature. Can I share in a use friendly way with another person?

I know there is cryptomator hub. It seems to be for companies, not for end users.

To give others access to your encrypted files, they will need access to the Cryptomator vault and your password. How do I give others access to the Cryptomator vault? This depends on the cloud provider you are using. Some allow to share files using the context menu in your file system, others allow to share files using the web interface. So the situation hasn’t changed. This solution is not user friendly.

I receive a link from you by email or message. I click, enter a password and download it in the browser.

The users can install a browser extension, which is like a web vault, and connects to a backend cloud.
