How can Hub Admins that are not the Vault Owner modify vault settings?

The organization that I work for has a managed instance of Cryptomator Hub. There are two people in the organization that have admin permissions to create vaults for users. The problem is that if one of us creates a vault, we become the “owner.” The other admin cannot make any changes to that vault other than archiving it.

Because of the requirements of new users needing to register their device once they are set up with Cryptomator in order to actually access a vault for the first time, they send an email to the admins. But if the admin that originally made the vault is on vacation or traveling, then the request has to sit for a few days.

Is there any way to adjust KeyCloak or the Hub settings so that anyone with Hub admin permissions can modify any vault in the Hub?

Welcome to the Cryptomator Community :slightly_smiling_face:,

Well, there is at least an easy workaround: Create a hub admin group in Keycload or your identity provider, assign the group right after creating the vault and give the group ownership.
