Hello everyone, I’m asking whether there is a way to configure Cryptomator on both iOS and Android to automatically upload all photos, even after rebooting, by keeping the vault unlocked all the time. Use case is providing photo backup for non tech-savvy people without them doing anything. Setup once and have it work without bothering to open the app.
Any help? I’m trying to figure out whether Cryptomator is suitable. The documentation doesn’t seem to answer this question.

As for the Android app, you need to unlock the vault after a restart, then you can set it to stay unlocked but beyond a restart leaving the vault open is currently not possible.
Thanks for the reply, it’s feature request then. The password may be stored in the OS keychain, and this would still be in line with the security target of protecting data in the cloud.
