Fresh Install, can not mount drive, acess it or copy files on it?

Hi there… a mate recommended me this (he is a windows user) but I can not seem to get it working. I am using BodHi which is a Ubuntu 18.04 based distro, so all ubuntu procedures should work on it fine.

I install ctyptomator, load the app, add a vault, select a location, and then unlock it. But I can nto mount it

is your vault local or on a network share?
Anything installed that prevents cryptomator from calling localhost on port 42427?
