Hi everyone, I’m backing up my data to OneDrive. To test if the data was uploaded correctly, I wanted to check how many gigabytes of my OneDrive storage are being used. My backup of documents is about 70 gigabytes, but only about 20 gigabytes of my OneDrive are being used. Is that normal? Are the files smaller? Thanks and best regards, Flo
No. Encrypted files are not smaller. In fact they are a tiny bit larger.
So I assume your upload has not finished, or there’s some misconfiguration.
You can check the upload status in the OneDrive app.
