[Feature Request] Remove Listed Vaults Automatically

Thank you for all of your support and features. Quality product all around.

Request: add a settings option to allow users to check the box to remove all listed recently opened vaults upon close. I typically go to the vault I plan to open versus opening Cryptomator first. When I do this the vault shows among the long list of other vaults I have opened at some point in the past. I have to start from top to bottom to start scrolling as to which one I am seeking. With this option turned on, the selected vault will be the only vault in the list.

Possibly, alternatively you can have an option to accept a numerical value of how many vaults the users wants to see in the list when Cryptomator initially starts. I would. turn on 0 so it clears the list upon closing, others may list 3 as an example. When I click on the vault from explorer the vault selected will be the only vault in the list.

Thanks and thoughts?

Thanks for the Feedback! You actually found a bug. If you “open”/click a vault file (masterkey or vault config), the main window should open with the clicked vault selected. With this logic an extra setting is not needed.

I’ll open a bug ticket on our issue tracker for it.

Good to know. That will resolve my concern I posted but I realize I did not provide any secondary comments. Since I don’t use the list I find clearing the list time consuming as I have to click on each listed vault separately, click delete, then followed by delete.

While I would prefer the option to not have any vaults listed, could you at least add a button on the main screen to remove all vaults? That reduces the clearing to 1 click.
