Fail: Cryptomator 1.7.0x64 - The WinFsp driver is outdated

I’ve used 1.6.x without any issues. I expected an automated update. But no - you need to download the file and install manually 90sFeelings-sigh… - and now Cryptomator tells me : "Sorry, can’t install your WinFSP Driver is outdated … " my what ?? I don’t even know/use WinFSP ? … and sure I the “instruction” how to find and uninstall WinFSP doesn’t help :frowning: … there’s no “winfsp.msi” on my harddisk… so I wonder why 1.7Update is complaining this … what do I need to do now ? please ?

Update : it took Win11 almost 10minutes to find a package called : winfsp.msi somewhere deep in applications archives … this I’ve right-clicked and uninstalled … (reboot-required). After rebbot you need to quit Cryptomator 1.6.x again … and then the update was working… now obviously created a drive-type : WinFSP… which was not clear for me. But at least it works luckily … wondering how other “IT-Dummies” should be able to fix this … poor poeple :frowning:
