Extremly slow performance working on Linux Mint 19.1 and store on Google drive

Hi all
I am working with Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon and store on Google Drive.
The cryptomator version is 1.4.15

The system is extremly slow, it takes 10 or 15 hours to upload around 40 GB.
The start of the file manager takes also longer than before.
The opening of the virtual folder with the file manager takes minutes.

How should the setting be?
FUSE or WebDAV?
If WebDAV, how do I know the port?
And should the URL schema be set on webdav or dav?

Or is there a newer version? If yes, how to update it?

Sorry, many questions. I am not a really experienced user.
I hope I gave all informtion which are needed to help.

Thank you a lot for your help.

This is more of a question than an answer, but how are you loading files to Google Drive? Is there a linux interface to GD?

I use rclone to send files up to GD. There are various settings you can use with rclone that make it faster than using GD by itself on Windows. Rclone also works with linux, which is the only solution of which I was aware.

Good luck!

Thank you for your answer, I will look at it.

To your question. I only can answer it like this: Go to Settings. Then Internetaccounts. And there I was able to add Google (my account). Maybe this is what you call Linux interface to GD.
This way I was able to mount my GD as a drive in the file-browser.

I hope this helps.
