I’m using the CIFS Documents app to access a vault on my NAS, no problem. However, when I try to open a .mht file within the vault, I get “An error occurred”. I’m able to open .pdf files without issue. How can I fix this?
Anyone have any suggestions?

I’m familiar with the document provider software you’re referring to.
As a comparison test there is also an SFTP document provider that you can get from Fdroid.
It works the same way and provides the same functionality perhaps it’ll work better for you.
If that does not work I have another option that you can get I think also from Fdroid and github. It’s called rsaf. It can be a document provider for Microsoft just like the one that you’re using.
