I’m writing a lot of notes in Markdown on my phone (using the app Markor) and I wonder if it’s possible to upload/encrypt whole folders at once withe the Android app, so that I can regularly backup my whole Notes folder?

As soon as https://github.com/cryptomator/android/issues/35 is implemented, this will be possible. From our roadmap you can read, that this will be the next big feature we’ll tackle down: https://cryptomator.org/blog/2020/11/20/roadmap/ … https://github.com/cryptomator/android/issues/63 would also help you but I think the Document Provider integration would be much better in your case and will come sooner.
