Cryptomator VS VeraCrypt with OneDrive

New here and exploring.
Currently using Veracrypt with OneDrive. I checked the comparison table, but didn’t find any extended argumentation about why Cryptomator would be better to use.
What is the meaning of “Optimized for Cloud Storage” ? Can someone please develop this argument a bit further?
Thanks.

Veracryt: 1 container file for all files in the container. Change a bit of one file in this container, and you’ll have to upload the container completely again, because the container file was modified.

Cryptomator: filebased encryption. Change 1 file in your vault, only the corresponding encrypted file gets change. No need to upload the complete vault

Thanks for this, I better understand now.
I just tested and I somehow figured out the mecanism.

Instead of first launching the software, can I launch directly “vault.cryptomator” or “masterkey.cryptomator” ?

Yes, that’s possible

Good to know, many thanks!
