I’m having trouble with Cryptomator not syncing files properly across my devices. I’m using the desktop app on Windows and the mobile app on iOS; but the files I upload on one device don’t show up on the other, or sometimes it takes a long time to sync.
Both apps are updated to the latest versions & I’ve checked my cloud storage, which is working fine for other apps.
I’ve tried manually syncing the vaults, but the issue persists.
Are there specific settings or troubleshooting steps that can help resolve sync issues? Could this be related to the cloud provider I’m using?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
This software does not do synchronization so all synchronization must be handled by other software.
For example if you store your Vault on Google Drive and synchronize it down to Windows you should still be able to access your Vault that is on your Google drive from the mobile client.
I’m not a big fan personally of synchronizing vaults back and forth between the cloud and a local device. I use cloud mounting software to directly mount my cloud drives without synchronizing them down to my PC and then I access them the same way using the Android client.
The Android client does not synchronize them down to the Android it accesses each file on demand.
