Cryptomator not showing dropbox option

Hi,

I have recently bought Cryptomator on Android and I have also installed in a linux OS here (PopOS). I have also installed dropbox desktop app.

Problem is in cryptomator when trying to create a vault, the dropbox option are not showing.

Any possible reason why?

What is your Dropbox folder path? Cryptomator only checks the Dropbox default (~/Dropbox or ~/Dropbox (_Your Teamname_)).

If your dropbox folder path differs, you have to select it with the “custom location” option.

So, it doesnt really matter to have it customly selected, as long it’s a folder within ~/Dropbox?

I wasnt sure if the integration had more than just selecting a folder.

It basically only the folder selection. No matter if you choose „custom folder“ or the provider.

It almost make integrations pointless. Other than if users dont know the folder location.
