Cryptomator v1.15 started but did not a get a window (see image) on the desktop.
Re-installed the latest version of the app under Windows 11 (all updates applied) but still got the same issue.
Is this a known problem ?
Apologies if not at the right place for my question but my first question (and first issue).
I managed to access my files from another Windows 10 workstation but would be grateful if someone could provide information on how to debug such an issue.
I am have the same issue, as a workaround I can still use the system tray to interact with the program and the preferences window displays fine but the main window fails to display.
Thanks for the info. I tried downgrading to 1.15.0 but still the same issue. A pity there seems not a way to start in a sort of debugging/logging mode to check what goes wrong. I only found some older similar issues Desktop UI Blank after Windows 10 Update 1903
Same issue just started today for me as well. New user also running CM ver 1.15.1 on Win11. Thanks for the tip about downgrading to 1.14.2 - I didn’t have the system tray option checked in preferences so couldn’t access any of the vaults that were not set to auto open on startup.
We found the issue and it will be fixed with the next release.
As a workaround, open Cryptomator settings (Path %appdata%/Cryptomator/settings.json or via GUI with preferences → show debug logs) and set values of the fields windowXPosition and windowYPosition to 0 .
since I run into the same problem on my W11 machine I`ve just upgraded to the latest version of CM (1.15.2). Unfortnaly the new version doesn´t solve the problem, nor the workaround re the window positioning you have provided above. Nothing in the logs, uninstalled, reinstalled, mutliple restarts - a constant turn and burn. Are you aware of this?
BTW: may be a coincidence, but I first stumbled over this issue after the latest windows updates have been installed on April, 10th: KB5055523, KB5002700 and KB5054979.
I am having the same problem with 1.16.0.5719. The program fails to auto-start after Windows starts. I can launch the program manually after startup and everything works fine. I have Cryptomator installed on two different computers: One a Windows 10 system, and the other a Windows 11 system. The Windows 10 computer auto-starts Cryptomator just fine, but NOT the Windows 11 system. I have checked the following options both places:
“Unlock vault when starting Cryptomator”
“Launch Cryptomator on system start”
