is it possible that the vault.cryptomator and masterkey.ceypromator files could somehow be, removed/not kept in the directory?
is it theoreticaly possible to use cryptomator with multiple people operating on the same drive, as in if they dont edit two files at the same time nothing errornous will happen, and if they do edit the same files nothing too errornous will happen as well (lets say both saved the same text file, the filesystem isnt supposed to blow up, but to save the last one)

No, they have to be in the root of your vault
yes. If cryptomator detects a conflict because the file was changed by another user, it creates a duplicate to not loose any changes. If you want to merge all changes, you have to do that manually.
