Currently the Cryptomator Download 1.4.0-x64.exe is being blocked by Windows Defender and Windows Smart Screen Filter of Microsoft Edge browser.

This may sound stupid, but did you try to execute the file directly fomr the “Downloads” directory of windows?^^
To solve this otherwise, open the “Windows Defender Security Center”, navigate to “App- & Browser-Protection” and set the first setting (“Analyze Apps and Files”) to something other than “Block”.
