Cryptomator 1.5.7, Mac OS catalina 10.15.6 error

error: There was a problem connecting to the server “localhost”.
/etc/hosts shows the required entries
How to correct the error. thanks

Please try the workaround described here: https://github.com/cryptomator/cryptomator/issues/1310#issuecomment-681932567

Workaround:

  1. Select the vault in Cryptomator.
  2. Press “Vault Options”.
  3. Select the tab “Mounting”.
  4. “Drive Name” is probably empty, give it some name.
