I bought cryptomater from the Google Play store quite a while ago. I remember thinking the price was a little steep for an Android app. I went onto the Play store today and there was a newer version of cryptomater this seems to have a subscription. Both apps are version 2.0 now. One of them says it’s unlocked for me, the other wants me to purchase a subscription. The subscription version seems to have way more options in the preferences, then the version I paid for. Are there any differences between these two versions? I also see that there’s a version on f-Droid.
I paid for the app and I’ve been patiently waiting for document provider/SAF support. Is the version that I paid for a couple years ago going to get SAF support or do I need to use the new version and buy a new license? What about the version on f Droid? How does that work compared to the other two?
