Your guide states that it is possible to change a password when the vault is unlocked by right clicking on the icon. However in 10.11.6 there is only the remove option. Is there another way of changing the password without upgrading the OS?
You can change the password in the “Vault Options”: Password And Recovery Key — Cryptomator 1.5.0 documentation
Or what Cryptomator version are you using?
I’m using 1.5.12. Sorry, should have noted that in the original question.
And thank you for the ‘Vault Options’ link. Hadn’t spotted it but had done what was suggested elsewhere - made a new vault, dragged across the files, then deleted the old vault.
