Hi,
I have been using cryptomator (1.16.0) for a little while now in combination with Nextcloud which is being synced between to Win10-PCs.
Everything worked fine (and actually still does) but I decided to run an integrity check just to try it out. It showed a conflict in the directory check but I was able to repair that whithin the integrity check. However when I opened my vault again I saw a new folder called “LOST+FOUND”, which is apparently normal after a integrity check. From what I read this folder should usually delete itself or if it doesn’t can be safely deleted if it is empty.
The problem is, that I cannot delete this folder even though it shows empty (at least in Windows Explorer) and the integrity check doesn’t find any problems anymore. There is no error when I try to delete the folder, just nothing happens. I am also unable to change permissions for the folder.
Is that expected behaviour? It’s not ‘actually’ a problem, the vault is still working fine but these are the kind of problems that make you nervous when handling important data (even though I have everything backed up).
I had a look at the log-files but I couldn’t find anything related to the integrity check. But I also don’t really know what to look for. This is my first post in this forum so please let me know if I forgot to include relevant information.
I would really appreciate some help, thanks!
EDIT:
I kind of solved the problem by using the locate encrypted file function. But when I run the integrity check after that I get the same message
WARN - dir.c9r file (C:\path\filename=.c9r\dir.c9r) points to non-existing directory.
WARN - Orphan directory: PS\JQQMPEFLMU5GFVOVDHYX6PG7SFQSLW
In the Orphan directory is only a dirid.c9r-file.
